  • We got some great comments on We Have Land! 🙂
  • Stephen Watts from Grow Sheffield says “would love to offer my help in any way”
  • Graham from Energy Development Co-op adds “count on the support of our co-op and help regarding clean, positive energy for any “commons” land projects.”.
  • Sam Duby from Pura Vida got in touch to offer support and the potential to take some people down to Spain from the UK in a sail boat!
  • Thats offers of help with food and energy on the land, and low carbon transport for a future tour! 🙂
  • On Friday I’m meeting the crew at Passing Clouds (a lovely venue in Dalston – upstairs is a bit like Candid Cafe but bigger and with live music, downstairs is a big hall) about holding regular United Diversity gatherings there.
  • The contract for Tom and Joerg’s OpenCoin funding is getting drawn up by the funders.
  • The first MUST.tv promo should be ready by next week! Watch this space…

  • Sharon from Land Roots (a project very similar to United Diversity’s land project) informs me they are very nearly ready to start raising investment! They’ve sorted their legal structure and have a couple of benefits coming up soon (more details in future edition of the Guide)
  • Rob Hopkins reports that The Transition Network are celebrating the first official transition initiative in Australia
  • Our frirend Dmytri Kleiner and his comrades at Telekommunisten launch their IPO! You can now invest your labour in this exciting collectively owned communications company!
  • Puck Markham has launched a Community Lottery in London. He also organises a monthly networking event in London for social, ethical and environmental enterprise and has just launched an online network to complement it 🙂
